Ricky Rodgers Boat Accident; Ricky D. Rodgers was the man who perished this past weekend in Lauderdale County after his boat collided with a support column beneath a bridge.

The incident took place in Lauderdale County as Pickwick Lake entered Second Creek close to the Waterloo region.

Ricky suffered fatal injuries when the aluminum fishing boat he was aboard collided with a Second Creek Bridge column. Rodgers was thrown from the boat and declared dead at the spot. He was not wearing a personal flotation device at the time of the collision.

Ricky Rodgers, 63, of Iuka, Mississippi, was killed, according to state troopers, after his fishing boat collided with a support column on the Second Creek Bridge. That’s right near Waterloo.

Rodgers was not wearing a life jacket, according to the authorities, and was declared dead at the scene.
