Alexandra Witek Obituary; The bodies of Edison Lopez’s Upper West Side superintendent, Alexandra Witek, and her two young sons—ages 1 and 3—were discovered inside an apartment in New York City on Monday.
Just before 3 p.m., police responding to a wellness check on Manhattan’s Upper West Side found the young boys, along with a 41-year-old male and a 40-year-old woman, had all been fatally stabbed.
When police arrived at the house, they found that the door was locked, so they needed the help of firefighters to get inside. The deaths were being investigated by police to see if they were the result of a murder-suicide.

According to a police spokesperson, the adults suffered neck injuries, while the kids sustained body injuries.
At the scene, they were all pronounced dead.
